How does the food tracker work?
You can log meals in three ways: take a photo of your food, scan a product barcode, or type a description. Fitagochi will identify the food and log it automatically.
How does the step tracker work?
On iOS, Fitagochi reads your step count from Apple Health (HealthKit). On Android, it uses Health Connect. Make sure you grant permission when prompted. Steps are updated automatically throughout the day.
How is my pet's happiness calculated?
Your pet's happiness grows when you log meals, reach your step goal, and get enough sleep. Missing these habits will cause your pet's mood to drop over time — just like a real tamagochi!
Is my health data shared with anyone?
No. All health and fitness data stays on your device. We do not share it with third parties, advertisers, or our own servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my data?
Uninstalling Fitagochi from your device removes all local app data. You can also revoke Health and Camera permissions at any time in your device's Settings app.
The app isn't tracking my steps — what should I do?
Make sure Fitagochi has permission to access your health data. On iOS: Settings → Health → Data Access. On Android: Settings → Health Connect → App permissions. If the issue persists, contact us below.
